The South Korea National Team is a perennial power in Asia. The Taegeuk Warriors have qualified for 9 consecutive World Cups – a run that started with their qualification to the 1986 World Cup. They become the first Asian team to reach a World Cup semifinal with their run in 2002 as co-hosts as well. Donning jerseys covered in red, the side rightfully earns the nickname – The Reds – and are followed, fittingly, by their supporters the Red Devils.
